Kingswood Children Centre
What is a Children’s Centre and who is it for?
Children's Centres provide a range of services for children and their families, including drop in sessions and early learning, by building on the good practice of the Sure Start Local Programmes. Being community based means they bring agencies together within a local setting to link families with a range of services for children from pre-birth up to the age of 5 years old and are essentially more responsive to local needs. Some Children's Centres can either offer flexible childcare or work closely with other local childcare providers.
